چکیده
Abstract This paper employs phylogenetic modeling to reconstruct the alignment system of Indo-European. We use a data set categorical morphosyntactic features, which take states such as ‘nominative-accusative’, ‘active-stative’, or ‘ergative’. analyze these characters with standard Bayesian comparative method, inferring transition rates between character on basis representation languages in data. Using rates, we then probability presence traits at root and nodes find that most probable for Proto-Indo-European is nominative-accusative system, low probabilities neutral marking ergativity categories lower grammatical hierarchies (nouns, past). test signal, pertaining higher show greater stability than hierarchies. examine our results relation theories well general typology.

Alignment Across Oriental and Indo-European Languages
The linguistic characteristics of Oriental languages and Indo-European languages are very different. Using purely length-based algorithm could not produce high performance on aligning texts. This paper investigates the effectiveness of critical part-of-speech (POS) criterion on alignment under conditions of different search strategies and different register texts. Two metrics, recall and precis...
متن کاملProto-Indo-European Lexicon: The Generative Etymological Dictionary of Indo-European Languages
Proto-Indo-European Lexicon (PIE Lexicon) is the generative etymological dictionary of Indo-European languages. The reconstruction of Proto-Indo-European (PIE) is obtained by applying the comparative method, the output of which equals the Indo-European (IE) data. Due to this the Indo-European sound laws leading from PIE to IE, revised in Pyysalo 2013, can be coded using Finite-State Transducers...

Species abundance patterns in complex evolutionary dynamics.
An analytic theory of species abundance patterns (SAPs) in biological networks is presented. The theory is based on multispecies replicator dynamics equivalent to the Lotka-Volterra equation, with diverse interspecies interactions. Various SAPs observed in nature are derived from a single parameter. The abundance distribution is formed like a widely observed left-skewed lognormal distribution. ...
